that's what makes paladins badass, they can fight and do that or heal

Umm... the point of paladins (and warlocks, etc) is that they're fighters *and* casters, IMHO... so that's what they do in DoorMUD, fight and cast. It's the same way in MajorMud, only difference is in DoorMUD they have an in-between-round damage spell that can be used instead of a heal.



Paladins in DoorMUD almost always still rely on their weapon as primary attack; their spells are healing or supplemental damage. Usually you won't see a paladin using a damage spell every round like in that cap, unless they don't mind spending tons of time waiting for SP regen after every single fight.



All of the caps on here give a slightly skewed look at combat in doormud, since most of them are boss kills or other situations where you spend all your SPs at once...
