My soon to be ex wife was the same way.. Never did shit, wouldnt get her license, complained about a bad back. All in all after being together since we were 15, i had to leave.. her never doing shit only brought me deeper and deeper into poverty and depression. different strokes for different folks tho. Do what you think is right.

grin, if you can't talk your problems out with your girl, then there is no communication. No communication = no relationship. As shitty as it is, I say can her ass if she won't have a decent conversation about your relationship.

amen to that ... if you gotta pay your girl to do normal shit around the house, that's pretty damn bad. she should WANT to do those things after you working a 60hr week. if she doesn't work and is at home all day, (to me) she's classified as a 'house wife.' i don't think there is anything wrong with a girl not working and staying home to take care of their children, but part of that is taking care of the house.

i would definately say to get out of the relationship. since you are the only one with a job and you can obviously support a girlfriend and kid right now, the kid would go to you. sucks, but what can you really do.

curious though, what does she say the reason she doesn't do it is? just her back?

She wont go to college because she says school isn't her thing, or she didn't do well in high school. We agreed to go get applications, but I know its going to be like every other time..she HAS applications...she never fills them out! She had an MRI, she has bulging disks, not sure if thats slipped disks or not...but another thing that makes me mad. She isn't taking care of herself. She isn't overweight by any means, but she NEEDS to go see a doctor about her back, and either get it fixed or something. She sleeps like 10+hrs/night.(sleeping to much is bad for you), she does that because she never does anything...has no energy. She doesn't eat right...and recently, I dont know if she is trying to be cool or what..but she has started to smoke, its only drags here and there or whatever...she knows I hate that.

I am not going to leave the relationship...I want it to work out. I am just curious as to why she is not understanding where I am comming from. She says she does...I really really really really really want this to work out. Everything else is fine...except the fact that She doesn't do "MUCH" I should say, she watches Hayley when I am gone. She did the dishes, but only because they had none to eat with(they = all the party people)

I love her very much, I am just upset. Well...hmm look at the time, gotta go to work lol

LOL LOL LOL LOL

Hey Brunt, I'm here for you man. I just got divorced not 2 months ago. My wife (of 3 years) never did a thing. wouldnt hold a job for more that a month, wouldn't go to school though she talked about it all the time, I have a daughter who is just now 2 1/2 and I would come home for lunch and my daughter would be on the floor playing with the house dirty, dishes undone, laundry unwashed, etc, and Annie would be layin her ass on the couch nappin!!!

I loved her. I still do. But nothing I did or said would change her.

I love my child. I now regret the divorce, simply because it didn't seem to fix anything. I still have to pay her lazy ass money(though she is going to college this semester), I don't get to see my daughter except on weekends(which I don't have time b/c I work all week), and I still have to watch Annie fucking go through life without any effort! And I still love her, causing me more problems in current relationships than I want to go into.

The solution: Get the fuck out. Don't divorce her, don't go have an affair, don't legally seperate, just say "I know I'm worth something. I think I'm going to give you time to realize that." Then fuckin leave. Come back 2 weeks later. If she don't get the picture, do it again. She will come around, and you will be happy.

I know cause if I had done all that my marriage may have been saved. Instead I rushed into divorce with beautiful affair at my side. Thats not the way to go. Other women look really good when your wife treats you like that. But save your marriage. Its hard to forget love.
