Metro is full of shit, I got a letter from their laywers, and they even sent it to my ISP, blah blah blah...they wont do shit but try to scare you.

They can remove his license. They don't want to shut him down, they aren't worried about that. His problem is the license. He is a licensed owner and *ouch* paid for Majormud/WG. They don't have to scare him. They can do everything they said they were going to do.



Your best option would to have attempted to PM this to people asking them questions. After that, you could have simply said "That's not me" to Metro. Now, you kinda put yourself in a bind. Now they know it's 100% you. You could have even had an admin maybe fake your IP addresses so you weren't linked to MMB at all. *Shrug*



I don't know what to tell ya dude. I'd be pissed if I bought the software and they terminated my license too.

Aragon should have a license agreement of his own for this board that states ANYONE reading these forums cannot use anything posted in a court of law or to accuse of someone doing something illegal. That would fuck metro and shannon over real good :)

Wouldn't stand up in court zan. He is absolved of liability for himself only by disclaimers, not patrons of this place. Also, I think people need to be much smarter about what they say, that's why you don't see links posted in the forums. This is not a pirate forums, it's a community that discusses mud ideas and whatnot in theory.

This is to shannon, he asked a valid question. Metro doesnt like their sysops comming to our forums because we can actually offer better support than they offer their users. If shes that hard up then i wish she would post here because i would be interested to see what she has to say. As for the former i would constitute it as harrasment of our users that she try and revoke your license. Bring that one up. As for editing if it was a bug fix i would think he was just "cleaning up your mess". You have to understand Grey that by posting here you recieve certain "SUPPORT" that Metro will most likly charge for in which we offer for free. That causes severe animosity between MMB and Metro. You dont need them, its wrong what they did and is a violation of MMB's as well as your rights. Ask us for support and well give it,we back you up.

As for the first thread, I did indeed post i had downloaded it. the second post in that thread was merely me stating that my copy was almost ready for people, in the sense that i had almost completed the install of k on my board and it was going to be ready for people to play on. The entire first thread is void. Nowhere did i state i was distributing it, only that it would be ready. They just assumed I had distrubuted it, theres that word assume...grin

I'm waiting on a responce back from them, perhaps they can tell me more. In the past couple of days i've had a couple people log into my board and log out in just a few seconds.(spys prolly, not sure)

As for the other threads, my board is online now, and is not editted, they can log in and see. I'm not sure how they concluded that it was editted when in fact they can see for themselves it is not.

None of this makes sense to me, I will continue to host it and try to get this straightened up. I doubt I will have any luck with it as they were already pissed at me for other reasons. This is just an excuse to attack me.
