hehe, thanks :)
Not only won't I chop off your head, but I actually *encourage* editing! The World Editor takes some getting used to (reading the quick-start guide is a must, then browse/skim the complete docs) but once you learn it, it's very flexible.
To answer Speed's question, Pro does a few things. besides bumping the user count to 16, it also adds some new sysop config options. One option is "hard mode" which increases monster HPs, damage, and respawn rate; reduces player rest rate by 1/2; and removes the level-restrictions on some areas. Hard mode is good for very active doormud games, since the basic game gets too easy when players fight everything in parties.
Another Pro option is to increase the exp tables by a multiplier. Actually the default exp tables in the basic game is the *lowest* setting (1x table, for fastest leveling)... in Pro you can set it anywhere from 1x to 10x. Now I realize most people frown upon higher exp tables, but it can be necessary if the daily monster fights are set high. Otherwise if you use like 300 fights/day and the exp table is still 1x, you'll breeze through the entire game in like a week, and thats no good ;)
Oh also one comment to Xetox, I'd recommend only putting up 1 or 2 doormud games at first. I mean I don't mind if you put up more, but if there's more than 2 I'm not sure how much the extras will get played. I knew one sysop who had like 3 or 4 copies on-line, all w/ different settings, but only 1 copy ever got played.

Sounds good :) Well, 2x or 3x maybe... anything past 3x gets hard to play by hand unless you're *really* hardcore.

I'd have to think about it... my main concern tho is that the official dmud forum (my ezboard one) has a kind of low posting volume already, and if I linked to the mmb one then the posting on my ezboard would probably drop even more. I dunno if I'd want to entirely replace the ezboard with this one, for a few reasons (ezboard has crappy interface but it's easy for newbies to use; no need to log in; easy to monitor / i have full admin access there; plus I just paid $30 to renew it... and I'd have to change like 30 links on my pages...)
