Hehe, if not for you guys, I wouldn't know what goes on at the metro forum...I haven't actually logged into it in over 2 years (mainly since their jacked up passwords were unchangeable, and I couldn't ever remember the stupid thing)

I used nightmare to put a bless spell on him and set the value of the spell to 1000. I know it worked because he went from like 50% accuracy to high 90s. It looks to me like they just made it so no matter what the situation, there's always a chance of missing and being hit. It took the bone warriors (dying field, not catacombs) 200 swings to hit me, but a kobold thief managed to do it too when I gave him enough time. And I got pretty much the same results with insane dodge.

And yeah, I know, having immunity or never being able to miss is stupid, but that's not what I'm saying... They said there was going to be no accuracy cap. They lied. They just made it so the accuracy cap changes based on your enemies' defenses.

Yeah, having seen the process where these changes were made it wouldn't surprise me if there is an accuracy cap that they don't know about. For a while, monsters and smash were critting.. there was a minimum crit percent somewhere that they didn't know about.. every once in a while hill giants would do a hit for 800 or you'd do a smash for 1600, was quite fun.

LOL. While the monster crit thing would suck as it'd make lots of spots unscriptable, having smash crit occasionally would've actually made the ability worthwhile. Or at least moreso than it is now. As for the accuracy, I think it was intentional really. I mean, Metro also flat out lied about the difficulty of mod 9 when it came out. Before mod 9 came out, it was "We're not increasing the party limit because there's nothing that 6 lvl 50s couldn't take in mod 9." A month after release, their tune had changed completely, except they had a different excuse for the party limit.

P.S. Would you please stop kicking my ass on the way to whitewood all the time?
