yeah i had a hundred people tell me about this OS, the only problem is i'm a n00b when it comes to *nix. i barely know any commands =\



so i heard that Mandrake 9 was prolly the best for learning about it... but so far i ain't learned shit

It's much better than linux. It's faster, crunches better and is THE fastest operating system on the internet. Just my opinion. I used to uselinux and worked on linux webservers in the past I got introduced to FreeBSD and i'm never goin' back. Check it out. IT's worth at ry. There is even an FTP mirrior to install of the net so no need to download or order the cd. And best of all. It's FREE

go to the local library and ur find alot of linux for dummies that includes redhat linux

I like Linux alot but i can only do the very Basics, if you want a n00b type of linux i like Caldera and Mandrake (mandrake being the beginners linux).

I can email you some pdf manuals if you want.

I am beta for United Linux and have a few pdf manuals.

Someone send me a new PC and I will put linux on there, and then setup my bbs again on my other PC.. ;)
