well I made a post for everyone then Ray closed it for NO reason so I posed the same thing for Aragon to see

It is true that every computer can be fixed with the right parts.

What makes it not fixable is how much it would cost to fix it. In most cases with an old computer, its best to just go buy a new one or try to find one that isnt so outdated

You cant UPGRADE MUCH in the computer..CPU, HD, RAM, CD drive..thats it. Its a pent III 733, with 192 ram, and a 20gb HD. I haven't upgraded the CD drive, or the CPU..but ya think a pent III 733 would be ok.



Its a cheap mobo with short pci slots. The ONLY connections it has are USB. If I am going to buy a new mobo, I might as well go with DDR, and a new CPU.

I am going to do that...but also, she has a MICRO-ATX case..with ONLY USB connections...means the case is propritory...means I need a new MOBO, case...so I might as well BUY A WHOLE NEW COMPUTER...which also means....PRETTY MUCH its not fixable(mobo being one of the main parts of the comp :) )



In the past year or so...I have learned a lot about builing computers....reading for my A+ and TRYING to study for my MCSE...



I am just trying to say that Ray was being rude....my GF doesn't a LOT about computers,....she knows how to do what she wants to do. Thats all she needs to know.



She wants to get a group of songs off the internet..(a full cd)



She cant use Kazaaa or Imesh...Imesh messed her computer up BAAAAAD



Well....I am about to buy Norton System works PRO...so I can have a legal version of all their products....

I am not going to buy a new COMP just so Erin can download songs...



Ray was being rude by locking the post and not allowing anyone else to post..and saying he knows everything thinking he can fix her computer...





I think its her MOBO..Its a generic intel mobo gateway gave us. I have NO idea why KaZaA wont work with it.....



So Ray can think whatever he wants....and LOCK whatever post he wants...but whatever he does...KaZaA wont run well on her computer.



I will admit...it OPENS on her computer.....but it takes 5 minutes to open the search tab?



Might as well find a spot to download and have the songs downloaded by then...(we are on cable now)



I still like Ray...I dont know if he is having girl problems or what....but he doesn't have to be rude to my gf.



Internet explorer takes 30 seconds to open....ANYTHING takes a while to open on her computer...



its just a POS.



New computer comming in a few weeks....when I get this credit card lol...

BTW....is anything is missspelled or doesn't make sence...I have taken 3 shots of 151 LOL....

I have gone to a doctor about this....I digest stuff REALLY fast...



I am 5'10" and 130-135 lbs.....



I think that each shot I take...I might not be digesting 100% of the whole shot...and my metabalism is really really really, REALLY high...



I can EAT ALL I WANT..and not gain any weight...
