im trying to make some challenging fun, im just making these rules as i think about them right now to try and get the atmosphere im looking for...

Live-only would have to have time ranges for being live, although that wouldn't work out either.

well im mountain time and we can go from there... besides if its big enough there will be people on at all times in many various places...



i doubt i could find enough people willing to try an at key mud, but if u think about how much time u spend staring at a script then you might as well have some fun.



seriously i just tried playing a bit by hand with my buddy and we got to level 7 it was pretty fun. like i said what better to do while resting than to talk and goof around, the atmosphere is totally there... i changed all xp table to 10% and we leveled at a decent rate... but i guess all i can say is, if u wanna super powerful character go script on some bbs and watch a character get to a high level, if u wanna have some fun with your characters and get to know the realm, this is totally the way to go.

I played on a board for about 6 years that was no afk scripting and after awhile it really started to suck.

The conversation stopped because people quit the board and went other places because it wasnt afk scripting.

those boards are for the true nerds..The ones who have no lives and dont do anything after school

I don't know about you, but I don't sit and stare at my script. If I'm at home on the computer, I'm doing things. I don't have time to sit and play, that's what I have my script for. You can try and try as hard as you can, and you will probably have a shitload of fun on your own mud, but you won't get very many other people. A lot of muds that are script don't even get 30 players a day. I estimate your user count at less than 3, but if you think that a no script mud with your ideas is fun, then by all means, put one up and play.

Word of advice, keep your posts to 5 lines or less, 5 lines is even pushing it.



More people skip over what you say due to length than people that read it..LOL.



AND I never said I spend 20 minutes a day checking scripts, I said I'm already active enough, I'm active as much as I want to be.

Hey, i would play and i know at least 2 or 3 more people that would stop in to give it a try and most likely stay =). So yea go ahead and set it. AIM (durin016) me sometime and ill help ya out with some ideas =).
