MBBS Accepts telnet connections,its just a pain in the ass to setup the channels correctly, the old Castle of Deception Online (Pre Lunar Dynamics) ran MBBS pure telnet.

Thats cool, had never fiddled with it. It's a pretty stable environment to run a board, and if you want to run an old copy of majormud and you have a 486 laying around, that's probably the best option.

also, why are you pulling up all these old threads from 2001-2002.

mbbs ^.25 is abandon ware It is no longer supported and it runs in demo mode unless you have the reg codes...

seccond the copy of telearena i was offering is free ware because the creator put it on the web and was asking for assastance to fix some of the crashes that it was causeing on the mbbs 6.25 boards that were running it....

as you may have noticed i have been out of the internet loop for about 5 years and thus i have not been up on all the new rulls and jargin but if i am putting something up for outhers i am not going to get sent back to my little box for putting up WAREZ... i will run it on my compuuter but i will NOT distrubite it.. THAT IS A VERY CLEAR ASSULT ON MY PROBATION BACK INTO THE WORLD OF COMPUTING AND I AM NOT GOING TO DO ANY MORE TIME OVER STUPID STUFF LIKE STOLEN SOFTWARE..

Now back to the point the cpoy of ta is 5.6c look it up it was the only time lance and artie were working togeather and when lance left and started majormud he took all his codeing with him.... and as for mbbs6.25 it is abandon ware by the law it is almost 10 years out of date and the original company is no longer supporting/supplying working titles for the software... 5 more years and the software becomes open sorce for thos that worked on the software "they can freely distrubite the sorcecode to the program since it is out of date and nothing is based on it any longer" according to my judge thank you for letting me rante
