I am the last of the Original users from WCC (who actively still plays mmud). I started on Nightline BBS in the late 80's early 90's. Back then all we had was Telearena on Nightline, some futuristic mud on Shoreline or LORD & Trade Wars on Digital Rain. Shoreline & Nightline were the BBS's most of us in Vancouver opted for. When Lance got bored with the bullshit of not receiving updates for TA, he tried to create his own. But that really didnt get anywhere. So him & Cat decided to create a whole new mud. In the very beginning we called it a bunch of wierd shitty names. We even had a contest to find a suitable name. But because it was created for Major BBS, we just stuck calling it MajorMud.



I last talked to Cathy (Lance's wife) about 4 years ago, she was totally blown away that MMUD was still going, and that it has the following it does.... Hmmm should probably call them again...
