Well...one reason Erin and I are still togather..she wont let me go LOL...I love her and dont wanna go...but sometimes we fight...and well..she just overpowers me! Even when I am mad as hell at her..I dont wanna leave! I feel for the guys out there that do want to take care of their kid...but cant.

Hayley does have a listening problem..when we say no, but she is getting better...I think my main problem right now...

Is that I dont spend enough time with her..she sees a lot of play time in the crib. That cant be healthy...and no, its not because I am playing MMUD. I am either at work...looking for a new job, trying to study for a new job...oh, and then there is MMB hehe.

I think my kid's listening "problem" is 1. his mom lets him run wild, 2. the amount of drugs she did when she was pregnant. He acts like he doesnt even hear me, or stares off into space... I dunno if he has ADD or something, and I can't afford to take him anywhere to have him tested. She can, she has a medical card, it'll cost her 5 bucks, but she won't do it. She is on public aid, yet works as much as possible so she doesn't have to spend time with him. It's really sad.

I get along with children pretty well, being at their mentality level but im not really sure about having any. I like kids and all as long as their not my own. Im a person of little to no patience as is and im afraid if i had a child he/she would probably grow up hating me because im a little too emotionally detached to pay what might need to be proper attention.

Ever think about going after custody? Most the time depends on the state, but in most states nowadays, fathers are getting custody more often because of unfit mothers. Her doing drugs during pregnancy? Goodness. Does she have a record at all? Drugs maybe? I'd seriously give it consideration.

Personally, I think kids need to be taught fear when they're young. Not to an excessive level, but just to let them know that their thoughts and actions have consequences. Our lives are ruled by fear as adults, for those not in jail. You can call it other things, but it basically boils down to fear. I think the science community is leaning on ADD too much nowadays too. I just don't comprehend how our society can just "develop" these diseases over the course of 20-30 years. There was no such thing as ADD when I was younger, but now they put everyone with a little attitude problem in that group. If they are taught discipline at a young age, I think they'd see that that would rectify a lot of the kids' problems. Flame me if you want, but that's just how I see it. I may be right, I may be wrong. I think that is the answer though :)

they needed something to blame thier parenting mistakes on...you cant hold them responsible for not raising thier kids right...it HAS to be a disease or something cuz god forbid they did anything wrong. i completely agree, ADD is a cop-out for lack of parenting.

Yes...nowadays everything is all too PC...Who gives a flying fuk about PC...just cuz someone doesnt like being called what they are, they gotta give themselves a special name to seperate themselves even more from the population.

At one point we used to be called humans...now its Earth dwellers....used to be white, black, brown, asian, latin...now its caucasian, african-american, latin-american, asian-american. Aren't they all american? Then call them that!!

Problems in todays youth stem from our own problems as adults..they see that we are clueless fuks that don't know a damn thing about whats going on, and they imitate it in the simplest form...and we punish them for it.

Get a clue people..if you would take responsibility for all of your own actions, you would not have so many problems.

I dont quite have the money for a lengthy court battle to gain custody, but I have discussed it with my fiancee and she agrees with me that I should do it. Right now my only hope is that his mother fucks up. I have called DCFS on her twice and of course they didn't do shit. I've turned her in for public aid fraud, (lying about me not living with her when i did, so i have to pay $2000 extra back child support), they didnt do shit. She does have a record, but most of it is as a minor. I have a record also, but all my shit is from a few years ago. When I was with her, a couple years ago, her probation was to be over in Summer 2002. Last I heard, she's on it til December 2003. So I know she has fucked up. I have been probation since June this year. I havent gotten in any trouble. I don't make shit for money, so can't afford a lawyer. Her mom pays for her lawyer. I don't stand a chance, except her lawyer seemed to work harder for me when it came to coming down to an agreement for visitation. This is a long drawn out story, and if I was to tell the whole thing, I'd be an angel compared to her, but for some reason, the courts dont give a shit. She lives in a county where everyone knows everyone. Her mom went to school with everyone important. She got my financial info to know how much child support to ask for, from the bank. Her mom just walked in and asked for my info from the loan I got, and they gave it to her. That's illegal as fuck, but of course, nobody would do shit about it cuz they all grew up together, and I'm an "outsider". I have no doubts one day I'll have custody. Hopefully now that he's in preschool, he'll tell his teacher (if she isnt friends with his grandmother too) about how Mommy's boyfriend kicked her ass and put her int he hospital and she's still with him and he's around my kid every day. He ever touches him and I'll be back in jail but it'll be worth it.

I have too say, I am so lucky that I don't have any kids. But, at the same time, I would be so blessed if I did.

why am I lucky? I'm still not responsible. Not enough to take care of a kid.

why would i have been blessed? It would have forced me to to be more responsible. I probably would have done so many things different over the last few years. In fact, I know I would have.

I love going to my best friends house who is about a year younger than I. He and his wife of 7 years now have 4 kids. Going over there reminds me of how kids can be a blessing and a pain. They are a pain if and only if you are not willing to "grow" up and be adults. You can't live like you were still in high school or college anymore. You have to remember that you are not the most important thing in your life anymore. The kids are. Then you realize that you have to place more value on your mate, your kids mother. That all can be a very tough thing to do.

anyhow.. enough rambling...
