-I just put in my windows 98/windows 98 startup disk and restarted my pc..downgraded to win 98-





why downgrade to 98 to format the computer then..

the format command in the windows command directory would of made it so you didnt have to install 98 just to format

there wasn't one, dark. Told ya my PC was fucked up..2 people suggested I do that so I tried=/



And WarHawk - iNViSiGOD told me to do the /s thing, and it gave me a long ass message about how windows no longer uses /s, and blah blah blah. Might just have been my fucked up me, or maybe its just me itself..but it told me it couldnt=/

bah, its likes copying the format command out of the windows98 directory and putting it on the win2k directory and then running it.

It will most likely say, invaild Dos version

Also he didnt have any bootable OS install disks and that /s things is a windows ME issue. Its up and going now. :D

Nod..Seph got me fixed he did. BTW Seph - Anti Spy doesn't fix it so you don't have to register XP..the little key ring kept popping up, so I finally clicked on it and tried to register - it worked.

That was a very BAD idea unless thats a legal copy.

its legal, i just didnt know if it would work because i had already installed it once before.

Should work,just dont register it again if you plan on running it on a second computer.

well i have to eventually..got the 30 day registration thing=/ anti spy didnt fix it.
