Ive found the only expensive thing about building boxes is the cpu, other than that, you can find good cheap prices online or at local computer stores. Skip the places like CDW, My god do they fing suck. They wanted like 800 for a one gig Intel CPU!!





All in all, this comp im using right now, cost me about 400 to build, with a 40gig Hdd and a 730 cpu

nods, but you can get raped by shipping. like now, i've been waiting 8 days for a cpu to come in. it's bullshit what i have to deal with for free shipping. actually newegg.com is a good place. prices aren't too bad and it's all from one place, so shipping isn't bad at all. bought a sound card, $50, $4 shipping was there in the next day.
