Sigh...so I realized I hadn't restarted computer yet today, and wanted to do that since I'm an idiot. Had to restart the download of the file, and it's been hovering at 15-20k/second for the ten minutes since, should be done in 24 hours...sigh...

Weren't you downloading via uTorrent? Doesn't it start where you left off?

No, and I think it was just coincidence earlier that my speed went up after I closed it. Went from 10% done, to starting over and a half-hour in only 2% done, still 17k/second...no idea why it's only 1/8th as fast as it was before, can only hope it's because I was at the beginning of the line before, maybe as more people finish up, I'll go faster. God, I hope so, it shouldn't take me over a day to download a demo from an AOL site. Fuck it, off to bed.

Just watched the E3 gameplay demo. Game looks more badass than I thought it did.

Definitely going to download the demo, and this might just be on my list of "purchasable" games.

So, here I am, 81% done and it picked back up to 120k at some point when I was sleeping, less than an hour to go (also, less than an hour before I leave for work...meh). I happened to wake up to one nasty ass thunderstorm, and the pessimist in me says I'll lose power aprox. 5 minutes before it's done downloading, so I can start all over again tomorrow...

So, when I first started downloading, there had been 135 downloads. Just checked the gamedaily website, and it's over 52000 now. Guess people are interested, eh? If everyone actually completed the download, that'd be something like 80TB of download action. Glad AOL has deep pockets!

I started the download on uTorrent at about 6:30pm last night, zooming along at a nice 120kbps. Then promptly fell asleep.

So I'll check it out when I get home tonight. Rather looking forward to it, all the hype points to this game being quite well made.

I just tried the demo for this game and I have to say it's actually pretty damn cool. I would say to anyone who has the patience to download the demo give it a shot I dont think you'll be dissappointed.
