Heyas Tulk welcome back to the mudding community. On this board you will find a listing toa lot of great edited majormud boards. These boards are constantly being added on to and evolved (sort of speak). if your looking for alot of Legit boards to play on, than that Turbo Sentry site is for you. Keep in mind that majormud in its non-edited form has not been added on to for years now.

i was wondering if you could play majormud muds using other clients then megamud.
megamud seems to run really slow for me

any telnet client works just put in the addy and make sure its port 23

zuggsoft.com is another popular telnet client
although i find the trigger functions to be very buggy.

The triggers on zmud work fantastic for muds like aardwolf. I used to have some serious responses set up, though since scripting wasn't allowed, I never went to in-depth. Instead I focused on using server-side aliases, which was an awesome touch for the mud to have.

i always run into issues but im using it with the database feature.. similar to megamud...
that and when it crashes nothing saves.. including the triggers you have been working on for 2 hours prior.. which sucks.

im using zmud to play aardwolf and i was hoping to use it to try quicksilver but it doesnt connect. it asks me to enter an ip#
