My shitty little kia is still pumpin out about 30mpg. I was considering selling it recently and getting something new, but I'm just gonna hang on to it until we see what's going on with this gas bullshit. Buying a 3.8 litre bronco would be a bad decision right now.
My shitty little kia just jumped the timing belt and sent pistons up through my engine block. Kinda shitty when you still owe money and have to make payments on a vehicle that doesn't work, while still attempting to get a new one.

I hate the gas prices, but luckly the gas is starting to go lower every week. I am actually thinking of getting my motorcycle license. That would save me alot of money in gas. But I don't drive a car that takes alot of gas, but I still find myself when I fill it up costing more and more.

I have a 91 Chevy Sprint 4dr auto (I hate auto) it's near death, 270,000 klm (about 500,000 miles) my main seal leaks, I blow a cloud of blue at startup (rings), I leak brake fluid (unsure), I'm running majorly rich (throttle body is FUBAR), plus a whole host of other problems, and I still get about 40mpg, $50(cdn) to fill the tank, and drive it for 10 to 14 days. Gas in BC is about $6.00 p/gallon ($1.20 p/liter)
We owned a sprint before I bought the metro...I believe it was a 90, my father put over 400k miles on it before he handed it over to be to use as a toy. I used it as my 4 wheeler until I jumped a little hill in it and when I landed it blew and never started again. Damn good cars!

I got rid of my Jeep (which I loved) and got a Ford Fucus. I am now saving about $15 to $20 a week on gas. That is great, but I miss mudding, playing in the snow...god, I love Jeeps.

I just bought a '91 Subaru Loyale Station Wagon. Thing is ugly, but the gas mileage is decent from what I can tell so far.

OK where do you live that its 99 cents a gallon for gas? gas just lowered itself to 2.84 around here at most stations but some are holding on to that 2.89

Just dropped back under $3/gal here in W. Michigan. Going to fillup this morning, though I'm likely to late.
