problem on boards like this is getting money. is there increased money drop, or will i be level 50 with 20 gold in the bank?

Actually money canbe an issue, here are the changes with money I have done



For the most part some people who just dont like to do things have issues with money, but if your inventive you should have no problem making TONS of cash.

Money is a key factor I have messed with in this realm for yrs now.

Money is hard to get normally since I removed all silver and copper drop from all monsters, although I did add kobold thief drop 1 gold and one type of monster per area might also drop gold, like younge blue, younge green, younge red, younge white and even golds...grin

Most everything can be sold in a store/jy so items is a key factor in making cash. Prices have been reduced to curb the massive gold build up.

There are many things that require a person to spend money on, such as tokens to port around the realm with. We have around 20 of them that range from silvermere, khazard, nekovillage, lost city, arlysia(sp), even outside the dao lord, master assassin quest and even more. Porting around the realm is a bonus that most should have to spend their hard earned cash on. There are even such things as Ruby Slippers which cost around 20 runic usable at 40th lvl and can port 200 times to silvermere then poof!

To many realms have to much money, my goal here is a well balanced work for your cash realm.

I also have what we call Gods Gifts, seeing as how this is a new reset I wont be giving money away at 1st lvl like I did in the past although I will be waiting until 20th. I also give cash out at 50th and 100th. 10, 20 and 50 runic respectfully, this cash helps the player buy such things as tokens, ruby slippers, gods items(sold in jy that r loyal), spells and such.

I pride myself on the cash system in this realm. There have been a few in the past with Massive bank accounts, ppl who know how to make cash in this realm, and there have been ppl who do nothing but script the cave worm and cry that they have no cash....laugh



Tip of the Day:

Sell Sell Sell, and btw SELL

Nod, kill a few things, get lvl 10, start questing and you can be 50ish within an hour or two, and that's basically when the real playing begins.





Seem's a little (MASSSSSIVE) overkill to me =(

Last time around, quests weren't available to new classes, but I forget whether or not new races can participate. Can someone expound on the topic, please?

As it stands right now, and I'm glad you mentioned this the quests are as follows:



2 new classes get



Alignment quests

Neutral 1-5th

Good 1-5th

Evil 1-5th



High Druid

Ice Sorceress

Golden Chalice

she dragon

apparatus

Meditation is for both at 25th

Dao

Phoenix feather

Yes the 2 new classes can do all of the quests
