This is steps I've gone through to get this thing to where it is. I installed WG on a P3 600/128mb machine with minimal setup, then I installed MMUD. I put a setting to disallow lawful characters and told my remote people to connect. They connected just fine, but the stats screen messed them up. Through some testing, it was specifically the stats screen. I could make their char from my computer (not the server) and allow them to relog and play mud normally. Since that was never rectified, I reinstalled WG and MMUD again, this time with a little text block setup, still nothing major. But this time I allowed lawful characters. After many tries, my remote user discovered he could make a character lawful, and it would work. So what ended up happening, he made a lawful, then I switched him to neutral once he got in-game. Still displeased, I installed WG on my primary machine (933mhz, 512mb) along with MMUD. Same problem, and this is where I stand now. I did full database recoveries, etc. with each version of WG/MMUD I installed yet the problem remains.

The LAN itself is at my house, one I control. Incoming connection is shared via Linksys router with the computer hosting WG set as DMZ host (I didn't feel like messing with forwarding right now). LAN only has 3 comps on it, my primary, another 700 my brother uses, and my p3 600 that sits idle most of the time now.

Installation of WG and MMUD are as per installation instructions found/formerly found on Morbid's FTP server.
