I'm pissed! All over the web it's posted as coming out on the 20th, but every store in my town is telling me they won't have it till tomorrow. Of course, starting tomorrow I have a nice eight day stretch of work coming up. Suckage!

Now I'm REAL mad, because the 24 hour stores that told me it'd be in tonight STILL don't have it, and I'll be without a car in the morning, so can't check anywhere else. ACK MOTHER-PLUCKER!!!

Two issues here. They aren't stocked, anywhere in town. I also don't have $400 to piss away on a 360 and $70 on a game. Even though I really want one. A nice laptop comes first, but, I still really f'king want one.

Just finished the tutorial, and I have to go to bed.

I went in to the EB games 15 minutes after opening, and there was a line. I happened to be the first person who wanted a non-preorder regular edition copy for the PC, so got it no problem.

Liking combat/stealth/spellcasting so far, and can't wait to get lost in this game.

Loving the game - have to buy a new vid card to get rid of the screen-lag. Got it for $50 from Best Buy, who seemed to have the best price around.

I started with a Knight, but just recently started messing with the custom class setup. Looks as though it'll be a very versatile game, with many different paths to reach the "end". Though in a game like this, there really is no end. Looking forward to seeing the mods start coming out.

Well, almost two weeks into it, and I'm still in love. I got about 30 hours into my first character, before re-starting because of things I know now that I didn't know then. I didn't spring for the collectors edition, because instead I bought the Primma official guide, and while I'm trying to avoid reading any of the quest info save for last-ditch cases, all the other info in it gives you an excellent grasp of the game.

My friends found the same guide in .pdf format out on the net somewhere, for anyone who's interested in trying to find it. It's out there somewhere, so it can be found.

Gawd, I really need to buy a new vid card. But see, PCIe was new last year and I didn't trust it, so I bought an AGP8x mainboard. Soooo, now I gotta pay twice as much for the same quality of card. Dumbass.

edit: oh yeah, the point - this game is awesome, but unless you have the vid card to handle it you'll hate playing it in all it's jerky lagginess.

for Oblivion i'd steer clear of NVIDIA... it's lacking a pivotal part of the whole experience: AA+HDR. aim for the ATI Radeon X1900 XT -- i promise you won't be disappointed
