Update: Got it working, don't ask how (I guess maybe I needed to reboot?). Regardless..I was able to install patches for a different server and got on there, but I'm not sure if I can play multiple ones because it uses the same directory (data) for all the info.

So how has it worked so far? Do you know of any glitched areas you could send a test account to? For functionality testing?

Well, like I said: Not sure how to play on multiple boards, and I'm really enjoying this 1000x/1000x/1000x place I'm on atm (hour or so and I have a 69/40 rogue and 56/1 assassin :P.

Feel free to edit out the link if it's a prob, invis, it's mainly just for you atm anyways. I'm going to take a short break from our server, though if you haven't had a chance yet on monday I'll likely wipe out what I have and put your files in, give it a shot.

Sorry if I'm being a dick...just have limited time to play atm, and am liking the "rushed" characters I'm making, as it's giving me a chance to explore the game and play with equipment.

Also:

It should be noted that the server I'm on, and most other's I researched tell you to UPDATE both the ragnarok and sakray files, buy running both programs (ragnarok.exe and sakray.exe) before you run the actual .exe used to play on ther server (in our case LunarRO.exe).

Disclaimer: IT'S ALL IN KOREAN, so you may need to trial&error it to get it to all work. I got it, and I'm stoned. You can too!

Any chance of getting that 1000x server ip passed around so we can all play around with different characters without devoting as much playtime?

Alright, sorry about the delay. I had a shitty couple of days off, and let's just say there's going to be some dental work involved..



Back on topic though:



1) I tested lunar's setup on my kRO/sakray versions and....



...the game crashes seem to be gone in the two places I recalled having them. Ran around in circles in both places, and had no issues.



2) I then got back to prontera, to test the weapon dealers, and....



...no more game crashes! This is looking better and better, right?



3) One problem: Everything except the NPC speech text is all in Korean (notice screenshots). However, on a hunch I went and grabbed a text file out of the other data directory(different server) I have, and...



...all the skills were in english!



Sorry for the drama, just thought it would be a good way to sum it all up. :P



Invis...I'm thinking you may want to look at this other data directory? I'll PM you the link to the server, so you can d/l and check it out. There's a bunch of extra files also in Korean that get added for this other server, and I haven't a clue what they do. Only that my system likes to hiccup whenever I try to view the folders. ;)
