hey.... uhm... alright so i had the hermit follow me and i can't find his f00kin house and he always dies in like 1 hit so it's impossible to go anywhere with him... i'll ask morlock i think he knows where the hermit's house is

Hermit wont trust you to find his place until high lvl (24) altho there's a room description hint before that. Doing the hermit thing isn't even really necessary, but it makes something easier later on.
