How would you get that to incorporate itself with mud? Would you have to enter the entries in manually? How will people know that a) their investment will be used properly and b) their investment will be operative in two weeks, six weeks, six months? Sorry, it looks like a really good idea, but I'm skeptacle about giving my money for things like this. You need to sell the idea before you buy the product.

Running tourneys are easy. They require someone to actually update webpages manually, but that's all of 2 mins worth of work in most cases. Ladders are lame. <----- period Nice looking scripts though, not worth the $ though ;)

I think a ladder would be nice...
All ya gotta do is make a few rules..
1. PvP wins come with caps. If you win with no cap, and your oponent denies it, I guess it never happened.
2. The cap must include your oponent agreeing to it being a ladder match..if not, your oponent may say it was every day PvP, then that's just what it was. The cap must also show the time that it happened, a standard time zone would be set, this is for reasons stated later in rules.
3. The Ladder doesn't take place on one BBS, it takes place on any. You can PvP anyone, anytime, anywhere, and as long as rules 1 and 2 are followed, you're in the clear.
4. The BBS or at least the Realm that this PvP has occurred on must NOT allow sys gotos, or if it does, you must be no where near town, we'll say at least 300 rooms out. In other words, if there are sys gotos, run and PvP in mithril mines..
5. No abuse of any bugs to win..this can be seen in the cap. If someone is accused of using a bug to win, select judges must view the cap and make a decision as to whether or not it was a legitimate kill. Whatever the judges say, goes.
6. No abuse of the ladder, you cannot have 2 ladder wins from the same person in a row. As a matter of fact, you can't have 2 ladder wins from the same person within 3 fights. Example: You beat Johhny. In order to get a win from Johnny again, you have to fight 3 other people. Go fight Sally, Billy and Bob, then you can legitimately have a win from Johnny again.
7. Goes for the judges again. If you say Johnny made a fake cap, the judges will look it over. In this instance, the BBS name, and contact for the Sysop must be provided to be certain that both persons have an account on that BBS, and that they were on at the time that it happened. This is where the time thing from Rule #2 comes in.
