I think that such a major change deserves a reset. If the race/classes are so unbalanced to cause this much of an issue, then all the exp/quest flags are ill-gotten, anyway. Didn't you just start? It shouldn't be that big a deal.

Premise #1: griffons are harder to kill than raks.
Premise #2: griffons are worth less exp than raks.
Conclusion: scripting griffons won't get you as much exp as scripting raks.
