Canadian HillBilly Improvising...Dude, i love it...This shit is entertaining.

You need to keep posting pics of this truck man. Show some shots of the fenders rig-welded on. That shit is greaaaat.

Why don't you get another bed to put on it though? They are pretty cheap at a yard.

That is ...

Re: My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Make sure you take pics during the stages of redevelopment of your new bush whacker. The ingenuity of creating a beauty out of a beast should definately be photographed.

Bush trucks covered in mud, being pulled out by another or a winch are best photographed when stuck upto the windows... I love BC ...

Re: My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Just a reminder to the Americans on the board: Not all of us Canadians drive trucks like that. Most of us have nice cars that are worth more than $200. :werd:

So can we get a pic of whats under the hood?

I bought the S10 with the intent on fixing her up, But after removing the box, and ...

Re: My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

I've rear-ended 2 cars in my life. Both were not my fault.

Hey Panth. Take a look at the Differential. See if it has a limited slip rear-end.

a buddy of mine used to have an s-10 that had a 2.8 manual with a limited slip rear.

You can run a small block off that same gearing.

Yeah I ...

Re: My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

You hit him jackass. You're at fault and you're just too cheap to pay for your own mistakes. Or at least 100% of it.

I'll think of you next time I get my inflated insurance bill.

I still pay for my mistake as my insurance rate went up. So unless you know 100% about the way things work in ...

Re: My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

99+% of the time when someone rearends another, it's the rearender who is to blame, not the rearended.

you were following too close

Ray, pull your head out of your ass.... Because you obviously missed this. I hit it so hard, I broke the passenger side axle, and pushed the motor over by 4", Now I ...

Re: My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Clearly admitting fault...

I hate you.

Were you there? Do you know all the circumstances? Yup, I hit the gas, because I saw an opening. BUT The Honda was speeding, the witness backed it up, should have shared 50% of the blame. It wasnt 100% my fault...

Re: My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

This is my 2nd 2.8L, my last was in a Pontiac 6000, and I would be still driving it, if I hadn't totaled a 1986 Honda Civic. I gunned all 128 ponies, and that Honda was poof right there outta thin air. I hit it so hard, I broke the passenger side axle, and pushed the motor over by 4", Very little ...

My first 4x4 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

So I bought my first 4x4 on Sunday. I got a 1989 Chevy S10 2.8L V6. Its a cheap project truck. Like all S10's she is rusted out, I found a 1991 body, the box is being replaced with a flat deck, the engine and drive train only has 177,582 original kilometers (110512.109 miles). It was owned by a park ...

That's definitely one of a kind. I'd have to say.... yup, I've never seen a grill with flames painted on it!

Flames aint painted on the grill, the grill was always red, they painted it black.
