It's everytime the sysop account kills a critter. Guess i wont be doing that anymore :-/

I'm using NMR (latest version for mud o+) but for some reason when i multiply the exp, after about 10 monsters it's reset to the default. Whats up? Is there a fix for that?

Edit /etc/inittab (or equivalent) and change your default RunLevel from 5 to 3. In full multiuser mode (rl3) you can type "startx" to get into X11.



As for getting to it just once in awhile, on your login screen there should be an ability to drop to console only mode...what version of X are you ...
