Balancing pvp at higher than level 50 while not unbalancing the scripting and monster fights is nearly impossible. That being said, best of luck with your project Night, and don't take too long putting it up or people will lose interest. Things can be edited after a board is running.

PVP is and has always been an issue in the mud community in that most of the people who want to pvp don't pvp each other and that leaves only the players who do not want to pvp as the targets, and they simply quit because they end up dying all of the time.

Personally, I would love to move to a different base that was completely configurable and not even use MajorMud... but you work with what you have.

He and another player played on my board for like the first day it was up until they both died to ARD and could not get their equipment back anymore.. then they mysteriously "quit" because they had "pwned" my board. While they were #1 and 2 at the time, I find this concept of "pwn"ing and "quit"ing ...
