Any idea when I should try the stone giants?

Im sure someone has an idea, or has in the past used this combo of characters. Right now salamanders is producing 650k-750k an hr(10x xp mind you). I would like some sugestions on what levels to try different places as well as if there are any better spots for me at the moment, mithrill and stone ...
